Welcome to Ring Racers Debt Forgiveness Program, the first mod for Ring Racers made by Girlstink. (I'm not usually a modder sorry if it sucks.)

Quick thanks to Togen, Epixgamer21, and Eldog in the Kart Krew Discord server for answering my silly questions while I had no idea how the Lua language works.
HUGE thanks to Abigail in the same server for the code to remove Ring Sting. I got stuck on that one for an embarrassingly long time.
If any of y'all ever see this, y'all are great! Thank you so much for the help~

Ring Racers Debt Forgiveness is a kind of "easy mode" mod, removing the following mechanics:
- Ring Debt going below 0
- Ring Sting
- Instawhip

I know what you're thinking. "But Girlstink. That's crazy and dumb! The skill expression of those mechanics is vital to the Ring Racers experience!
My response to that is: "Yeah." It is. The rings just kind of become a glorified boost meter at that point."
So why'd I make this mod then? TLDR: I didn't make this mod for the avid Ring Racer's enjoyer. It's a bit of a newbie tool for them to dip their toes in and make the game less complicated and more approachable.

Personal story for why I made the mod (you can skip this block if the TLDR above was enough for ya):
See, I like to play Ring Racers with a lot of people. I have a lot of competitively minded friends who enjoy learning every niche trick in the game to share the greatest battles with one another.
One of my girlfriends though, she loves Mario Kart, Diddy Kong Racing, and Chocobo GP. She loved SRB2K as well, Ring Racers never really clicked with her. In her own words, she prefers a more "normie" kart racer experience. When I asked what made it hard for her to approach, she specifically mentioned the three mechanics this mod aims to remove. So... I don't mind taking them out for local play matches now and again to play with her.

I don't expect this to be a very popular mod, but if anyone wants to try it out with a friend who finds the game a bit overwhelming, I hope this helps y'all have a better time together!

As stated, THIS IS MY FIRST MOD EVER. If there are any major errors, bugs, crashes, or other issues I missed. Feel free to report them! Hell, if you know what you're doing with Lua and you have a fix, send it my way! I'll be sure to give credit!

If anyone digs through the code and wants to use or edit anything themselves, feel free to! I just ask that you give credit. (That means credit to Abby if it's the no-ringsting code).

Have fun y'all! Ring Racers veterans and newbies alike!
